Bhrigu Lake Weather and Ideal Time to Visit

The winter season in Bhrigu Lake Manali, which runs from October to May, is the ideal time to see Bhrigu Lake. This time of year, the lake is primarily frozen, with snow covering the surrounding area. The summer months of March through May are especially ideal for visiting the lake for an exciting or leisurely activity because the weather is clear and comfortable all day long.

How to Reach Bhrigu Lake

It takes around 24 km to reach Gulaba Village by car from Manali, and the road connection is excellent. The best and most economical ways to get to Gulaba Village from the surrounding area are by shared or private taxis. To get to Bhrigu Lake, visitors must hike or stroll across the alpine meadows from the settlement.

Quick Itinerary for Bhrigu Lake Trek

Day-1:-

Reach the town of Manali. Arrive at Gulaba Road by car from Manali and hike to Jonker Thatch. It will be a 24 km drive which takes one hour.

Trekking Distance: 1.5 km; Trekking Time: 1.5 hours; Altitude: 6,725 feet to 10,285 feet

At 10:00 AM, depart for Gulaba from Beas Bridge in Manali, Manali. Drop off your cloakroom bag and pick up your rentals at Palchan when traveling. By 3 p.m., you arrive at your first campground. (Note: On this day, finish your lunch before you get to Gulaba.)

Day-2:

Trekking across Rola Kholi and Jonker Thatch

The trek is 5 kilometers long, takes 3–4 hours, and gains altitude from 10,285 feet to 12,590 feet.

It is a moderate trek. The entire trek is a steep incline, with the final half-hour being an uneven stroll.

DAY-3:

Trekking to Bhrigu Lake and returning to Rola Kholi

Trek length: 7-8 hours; Trek distance: 10 km; Altitude Gain and Loss: 12,590 feet to 14,009 feet and return

It will be a moderate trek that begins with a rocky path. The first climb lasted two hours, while the downward one lasted 10 minutes. After a fifteen-minute level stroll, there is a difficult one-hour climb to the lake.

DAY-4:-

Hike from Gulaba to Rola Kholi. Return by car to Manali

Trek length: 3–4 hours; Trek distance: 5 km; Altitude Loss: 12,590 ft to 9,875 foot

It will be a simple trek, primarily downward. Make a stop at Palchan on the way back to pick up your cloakroom and return rentals. You should arrive at Manali at about 3:30 PM.

Note: Depending on the route you choose and the weather, the distance between campgrounds can vary by 100 meters. For identical reasons, there may be a 100-foot variation in altitude.
